  • Why is my salt in clumps?

    That is a called "caking" and it's completely normal. We try our best to avoid that by placing silica packets in our jars, but it's almost impossible to avoid. Just give the salt jar a little shake and everything should return to normal.

  • What's the best way to store my jars?

    Keep our salts in a dry and cool location.

  • How long will my salt last for?

    Our salts have a 2 year shelf life; in reality our unflavored salts (if unopened) can last over 10 years, while our flavored salts last over 3 years if unopened.

  • My order arrived with broken jars, what should I do?

    First, we are extremely sorry if your order arrives with broken salt jars. Unfortunately, we do not have control over how USPS handles our orders once it leaves our facility. We fully understand how frustrating that may be and want to make it right for you. Please reach out to hello@osmosalt.com with subject line BROKEN JARS and please include your order number as well.

  • How do I modify or cancel my order?

    Orders cannot be cancelled, changed, or updated once they are placed as they immediately start processing. If you'd like to add another item to your order, please place a new order for the item.

  • My order is damaged, missing, or incorrect. What should I do?

    We strive to provide exceptional Premium Salts as well as Customer Service and will work with you to ensure your 100% satisfaction. Please email hello@osmosalt.com (Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm PST).

Shipping Questions

  • Do you ship outside the U.S?

    You shouted and we listened! We are now happy to be shipping to our International Salt Lovers all around the world! Please note that Osmo Salt is not responsible for any duties or taxes.

  • How long will my order take to ship?

    Once the order is placed, your order will usually take 2-3 business days to process (prepare to be shipped). You will be sent an email with a tracking number once your order has shipped. For Domestic orders, please allow 5-7 business days for USPS to deliver your order to your door. For International orders, shipping may take between 15-30 business days depending on the country being shipped to.

  • How can I track my order?

    Once your order ships, you will receive an email containing your tracking number. If for any reason you have not received your shipping confirmation email and your order date is past 5 business days, please let us know by emailing hello@osmosalt.com.

  • What carriers are used?

    We ship via UPS and USPS.

    We accept most major credit cards along with Shopify Pay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and PayPal.

  • Is Osmo Salt Kosher Certified?

    Currently, our White Flakey Sea Salt, Black Flakey Sea Salt, Roasted Garlic Sea Salt, Black Truffle Sea Salt and Mesquite Smoked Sea Salt are Kosher Certified. Certifications for each flavor listed above can be found on each product page.
